The Ayes have it. I agree - YOU DON'T Just hit the BIN by Accident - Tell them to pay and then if they don't report them as a non paying bidder

Update they are suppose to be sending a m/o. I sure hope so. They tried to say their computer locked up and they we're pushing keys and it just happened. My DS who's 19 and really knows computers said if that happened then they had already hit the buy it now button. He looked in their ebay store and one of the items they sold was the same brand of doll they bought from me. He thinks they just wanted it cheaper so when they resale it they'll make a better profit. Thanks so much for everyones help.

If you had bidders watching your auction, they probably wouldn't have bid until the last minute. Who knows what the price would have gone to. That is really outrageous that the buyer is trying to claim they made a mistake and that the item probably wouldn't have sold. I hope you get your money order for the full price. Let us know.
PS - I just did a Buy It Now this morning. After pressing buy it now, you have to press another button that says "Committ to Buy." If it was a one click proceedure, maybe one could make a mistake but not the way e-Bay set it up.

Well, on the first auction I'd ever sold (or tried to sell), someone did a BIN and then sent me a message apologizing and that they didn't really mean to do the BIN, but just bid. I didn't know how that would be possible to do a BIN by accident, but they offered to pay Ebay fees so I let it go. However, I've never had a buyer do that and then demand they get the item at the starting price. I agree with the others. That is most certainly not fair to you. I hope that she does indeed send you the money order . Good luck! If any problems return, try to talk it out with them, and if that doesn't work, report them to Ebay.

That is absolutely ridiculous. They can't say that and get away with it. I cna't believe someone is so stupid as to think that will work! There is nothing that you can do for them here. As was said before - if they give youproblems, contact eBay. I am sorry for your problems. There is nothing like eBay stress! Some people just make youi wonder, you know?
